Who We Are
FDN FOUNDATION is a Ghanaian-owned Non-Profit Organization that is aimed at helping children from impoverished communities around the country. FDN FOUNDATION is founded by Dr. Franklin D. Nkansah who has the passion to help children from impoverished communities go through their education from primary to the university, particularly in sciences without any financial burden on their parents or guardians.
We believe education is the key to the fundamental transformation of our communities toward a prosperous future and a more just and inclusive society. FDN FOUNDATION’s objectives are to provide access to high-quality education for underprivileged children who, without us, would likely be out of the educational system and social-economic justice transformation of Sub-Sahara Africa altogether.

The FDN Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life of impoverished children in rural areas of Ghana through education that empowers them to transform their lives and eventually their communities.

We work to break the cycle of poverty in rural Ghana by providing access to quality education. Through scholarships, learning resources, and community support, we empower children with the skills they need to build brighter futures.
Our Strategies
We are purpose-driven, focusing on practical solutions that uplift communities and create lasting impact. Each approach is designed to deliver meaningful change and support those who need it most.
- We design each program as a part of our standard curriculum or as an organizational program, such as our scholarships.
- Our programs are developed by specialists and focused on a comprehensive educational approach.
- This is done by visiting remote villages, identifying schools in such villages, approaching the school and introducing ourselves to the head of the school. Heads of such schools introduce us to brilliant students who have no hope of furthering their education…
