Our Story

Education for Every Child

Ensuring every child, regardless of background, has the chance to succeed.

FDN Foundation is a Ghanaian-owned Non-Profit Organization that is aimed at helping children from impoverished communities around the country. FDN Foundation is founded by Dr. Franklin D. Nkansah who has the passion to help children from impoverished communities go through their education from Primary to the University, particularly in science without any financial burden on their parents guardians.

We believe education is the Key to the fundamental transformation of our communities toward a prosperous future and a more just and inclusive society. FDN Foundation’s objectives are to provide access to high-quality education for underprivileged children who, without us would likely be out of the educational system and social-economic justice transformation of Sub-Sahara Africa altogether.

Our Impact

Our Student Support Pathways

FDN Foundation uses a fair, thoughtful, and community-driven approach to discover talented students from impoverished backgrounds and connect them to life-changing educational opportunities.

Programs

Our programs are created by specialists and built around a holistic approach to education. Each initiative whether part of our core curriculum or our scholarship program is designed to give underprivileged students the opportunity and support they need to thrive.

Scouting

We actively visit remote areas to identify schools and connect with headteachers. Through this approach, we discover brilliant students who risk losing their educational path once the free government basic education ends.

Recommendations

Because of our reputation for supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds, many recommendations come from teachers, community leaders, and individuals across Ghana. These referrals help us identify exceptional students who deserve a chance at higher education.
